“Embers” by Kathleen Hesher

As he approaches me with heat in his eyes
His hand strokes my hair, as his skin touches mine
I feel that longing from way down deep
As our hungry lips, finally meet
Meet with desire and passion so sweet
The two breaths become one, and my thoughts seem to shatter
His eyes full of hunger, his longing burning bright
My eyes glowing back as the embers ignite
Ignite into an inferno that burns so hot, so bright
Devine is the sensation, only true passion knows
As my body is on fire and the sensation grows
Building and pulsing and throbbing so
His fingers exploring, making me need to take
Take his passion and make it my own
As his breath hisses fiercely in my ear
The sound so loud it makes me shiver
He captures my lips while I surrender
Surrender the hunger, the need, the splendor……
Leaving my flame a red hot ember
