“Doin’ You” by Billy Medford

I’m feelin a lil older
And feelin a lil colder
Maybe not colder
Just sick of all the cryin
C’mon get up off my shoulder
Talkin bout all your problems
But showin no motivation to solve em
You tryin to take care of the fam
But your money don’t involve em
Talkin bout the lack of Quest
And no more unemployment checks
You say you’re doin your best
So when I call you out
You’re quick to get in your chest
Meanwhile I’m feelin blessed
For how my life’s been goin
Since I show no slowin
Of motion to my devotion
To take my life to a higher peak
You’re mouth does the talkin
Well I let my actions speak
You’re all tongue in cheek
I’m on the clock 65 hours a week
So take a seat and enjoy the view
And enjoy all my tax dollars that go to you
Cuz while I’m busy doin me…
I guess I’m also doin you
